Radical Agenda Movement In The Nigerian Bar Movement (RAMINBA) has condemns the reckless and inhumane actions of the Lagos State Government
In press statement issued by Ayodele Ademiluyi,the chairperson and signed by the secretary of the (RAMINBA) made available to pressmen in Lagos said that despite the valid and subsisting Judgment of Honourable Justice Ogazi of the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court, Lagos State Government acting through her front agencies have commenced demolition exceeding in the community .
The statements read:
While the government first of all correctly demolished the structures less than 100 metres from power lines in the community, it went beyond limits to commence demolition of houses far from the Power lines, thereby violating the judgment of the Honourable Court.
We call for restraint on the part of Lagos State Government and obedience of the valid and subsisting Judgment of the Court in the spirit of rule of law.
