₦17.5 Trillion of YOUR money spent without appropriation?

On Pipelines Security, while all that was appropriated and passed for security of all Nigerians in the budget is ₦3.25 Trillion— Who Is Protecting Nigerians?

Nigeria is at a turning point — and the truth must go viral.

NNPC’s audited accounts reveal that ₦17.5 trillion was spent on pipeline protection, energy-security and under-recovery in just one year.
Yet, the entire national security budget for the same year was only ₦3.25 trillion — and insecurity is worse than ever.

This is not a budgeting error.
This is a national emergency.

Citizen Bolaji O. Akinyemi has filed a powerful petition to the National Assembly demanding two urgent actions:

  1. A full parliamentary investigation into the ₦17.5 trillion pipeline scandal.
  2. A complete reprioritisation of the 2026 Federal Budget around SEA: Security, Education & Agriculture — the only development framework that can rescue Nigeria from hunger, out-of-school children and uncontrolled violence.

If we don’t speak up now, the mis-prioritisation that values pipelines above human lives will continue.

Share this message. Push it. Discuss it.
Let this be the moment Nigerians refused to be silent.

2026 MUST be the year we fund Security, Classrooms and Farms — not shadows and scandals.

Nigeria is changing fast — and so must our understanding of the forces shaping her future.
Citizen Bolaji O. Akinyemi writes daily with clarity, courage and data-driven insight on governance, nation-building and the SEA reforms Nigeria urgently needs.

If you value truth, strategic thinking and fearless civic engagement, you need to read him consistently.
