Renowned Nigerian haematologist and geneticist, Adeyinka Gladys Falusi, has been decorated with the prestigious Role Model Award by the Hallmarks of Labour Foundation (HLF), in recognition of her far-reaching contributions to medical science and national development.
The honour was conferred during the foundation’s 29th anniversary celebration held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, where a distinguished gathering of academics, professionals, and industry leaders assembled to celebrate excellence.
The ceremony, held on April 18, 2026, spotlighted Professor Falusi as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished scientific minds, whose legacy continues to shape the landscape of healthcare and research.
In a statement, HLF Executive Secretary, Patricia Otuedon-Arawore, explained that the award recognises individuals whose professional achievements have made measurable impacts on national growth and development.
